Rundown Progressing, or, The Accidental Century

A Bisy Week, heading into a bisy month.

Found a new apartment -- lease signing today, move in furniture June 28, official move in day July 1.

Going camping this weekend -- got a big tent set up in the backyard now, going to give it a spin tonite.

Heading to Spokane next weekend, for to drive back to DC with a Fernando replacement-mobile, to be named later.

Then Moving Day! Zowie, not much time there.

This weekend, had an epic kind of disaster. Drove out towards WVA for to bike in the hills, and B and I decided to try to make it a four state ride -- started in Williamsport MD, rode up about 10 miles and grabbed the PA line, back and into WVA. Then over the ridge at mile 57, and spent about 13 miles trying to grab VA -- failed by about 400 meters of dirt road. :(

On the way back, I missed a turn, and ended up having to guess which way I should go on US11 to get back to the car. 5 miles later, I figured I had made the wrong choice, and so my ride ended up being 105 miles for the day. A dance rehearsal that evening capped off the festivities.

15M Long run on Sunday AM didn't feel too bad, either; a short (1K) swim and a second 2M run weren't too terrible. I think my body may finally be beaten into submission. OTOH, I may have a broken bone in my foot and I can't seem to shake this bottom of the lungs cough . . . we shall see.

It looks like I'm not going to see T4 in theaters. Dammit. Missed my window, now there is too much to do before the move to justify sneaking out for 120 mins. Feh. Probably not going to get too much more done on the Diss this month either, for similar reasons. Bleah. Still and all. First Century! Woot!
